What To Expect From Invisalign Orthodontics

Initial Consultation

Before you can be approved for orthodontic treatment with Invisalign clear aligners, you’ll attend a consultation with one of our Pearland Invisalign dentists. Designing Your Custom Invisalign Clear Aligners

The intra-oral camera allows us to understand the structure of your smile and design your trays without using bad-tasting materials. You’ll return once your trays have been fabricated and sent back to our Pearland, TX office.

Wearing Your Invisalign Clear Aligners

Your Pearland dentist will show you how to wear your Invisalign aligner trays once you return to Pearland Dental Group. To put them in, simply place them firmly over the appropriate row of teeth. For your treatment to be effective, you’ll need to wear your trays for at least 22 hours a day. However, you’ll need to take your trays off when you eat and drink something other than cool, plain water. Clean your Invisalign trays every day by soaking them overnight in a mixture of three parts lukewarm water and one part white vinegar. You can also use a solution of equal parts hydrogen peroxide and lukewarm water, or lukewarm water and Invisalign cleaning crystals.

Clean your Invisalign trays with lukewarm water, a soft-bristled toothbrush, and a gentle antibacterial soap or toothpaste.
